What? No Salespeople!
It`s not about hard selling.
Every now and again we get asked to visit a hotel to sell our system, and that is a reasonable enough request isn`t it?
Yes of course it is. We completely recognise that people do business with people, so why are we so reticent to come out and visit prospective clients?
Well, as with many things it`s time & money. We love meeting clients and do, however we don`t drive around in BMW`s increasing our costs and carbon footprint because these costs have to be paid for and the person paying for it? Unfortunately that would be you.
CaterBook is priced at a level that is affordable and that is because we keep costs right down.
It`s pure common sense.
Consider the actual costs:
Imagine I get into a car and drive from Devon to Ipswich in order to make face to face contact with a prospective client with 12 rooms.
That is 620 miles there and back and being environmentally concerned, I have a car that should manage 40 mpg. So we`ve spent £216 on petrol.
Now take into account that I don`t work for free (sorry) lets say I pay myself £20 per hour at 10 hours, there goes another £200.
For the sake of simplicity we wont even factor in the cost of the car or accommodation.
You`re a business person. You know that if you`re not making a profit, you`re making a loss. So being a generous company we are only going to add 10%
Valuable resources?
There you have it, we`ve spent over £460.00 and used valuable resources to sell you CaterBook - sorry, but in our book that is madness.

We`re not fools. We recognise that we will indeed lose sales over visiting salespeople. It is unfortunately inevitable. We also know that our methods are sustainable, reduce costs and important resources.
The fact that you have stuck this article out indicates that you might be seeing our point. So rather than have me driving up prices all day, why not actually have the system installed and use it for free!
Controversial?
Perhaps, some may think it odd that we take this position, however to you, the canny businessperson, the difference in the above example means that you would pay us £649.00 instead of well over £1000 for the same system
So when you compare our prices with our competitors - do keep in mind that our prices exclude the costs of visitors in the shiny executive cars.
